Saturday Stamping

There’s nothing better on a misty and murky winter’s Saturday than playing at craft, even if you are supposed to be making sure you’re absolutely ready to go out when Mr Beez gets back with the big shop. (I am not trusted to do the big shop, I spend too much, and, apparently, I am more of a hindrance if I go along to help. Don’t even think of suggesting an internet shop – those internet shoppers even less trustworthy than me!!!!) Anyway, if you were here on Wednesday you will recognise that these ATCs are a continuation of the CAS theme I began then:

I’m sharing these over at Sunday Stampers where this week’s theme is to use sewing and stitches. Obviously in my case the sewing and stitches are of the faux variety. I’ve used a zig zag stitching stamp (sorry, I’m not sure where this is from) around the edge of each one. The mistletoe stamp is from Lavinia Stamps and the little heart is by Stampotique. The tree and the words are all from Darkroom Door.

I’ve “fabric” pieced the Christmas tree by stamping a second image onto a piece of calico, colouring it with ink and then cutting it out.

Now I’d better dash as I think I here a car on the drive!!!

Thanks for buzzing by.

    • Thank you – ATCs and postcards are my default when time is tight. However, your journaling inspires me to start one! I really want to get with some stitching too 🙂

    • Thank you. I must admit I do quite like not having to do that however, I think I’m more of a liability going separately as then I only have to focus on “extras.”

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
