Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you are spending it in the way you would wish. I am currently going through a phase of waking up extra early and creeping downstairs so I don’t disturb Mr Beez. Look what was waiting for me in the kitchen this morning!
The plush little bee plays “Be my Baby.” Now I know this was a hit for the Ronettes in the sixties, but it also happened to be covered by my beloved Bay City Rollers in the seventies! The little bottles are Prosecco and need I say any more about what’s in the Krispy Kreme box?! Lucky, lucky me π
Today I am here to share a quirky Valentine that I have made for this week’s Stampotique Designer’s Challenge, #231, “Love Is In The Air.”
I’ve used Daniel Torrente’s “Smile” stamp against a Gecko Galz image from the Between the Lines Collage sheet. I added a string to the balloons and some words from a collage sheetΒ from Lisa’s Altered Art.
I am also sharing this over at City Crafter Challenge Blog as my second entry for their photo’ inspiration challenge.

Definitely quirky! Such an interesting collage , your coloring of the ball on is fantastic! So glad you joined the City Crafter Challenge.
I can’t take credit for the balloons – they are all part of the fabulous image!
OH my heavens, this is so darned cute, is he a new character? So many adorable cards, you must be dizzy from creating so much. What a wonderful and sweet loving gesture your hubs made for you. That is so darned sweet. Things like that is what these years after kids is for, to rediscover your wild love for each other. Am jealous. Hope you didn’t eat all those Krispy Kreme’s by yourself. we used to have Krispy Kreme here but they went out of business couple years after we moved here. Hubs did buy me a rose (at my hinting) Friday night when we went to the market. Sounds like you had great Valentines Day
Oh lovely to get a rose, that’s brilliant and of course I ate the Krispy Kremes myself!! π π π

Thanks Coby.
Wow, I am totally captivated by all of those balloons. I recently bought the Stampin’ Up balloon set and spent a lot of time trying to stamp with them … I was rubbish! I keep staring at these balloons trying to imagine what it would take to stamp a huge heart shaped cluster. I wish I had seen this first.
Fabulous Valentine card, all of those wonderful romantic references. Mind you, you need a very romantic card for a husband who goes to as much trouble as yours, Mr Beez is such a treasure.
Dionne xx
