Love Always

Thank you for all the beautiful messages that you have left regarding dear little Knox. I will pass these on to Knox’ family who I know will appreciate them. You may like to visit Scarlett’s (Knox’ mum) blog as she has posted the most adorable photo’ of Knox that can’t help but make you smile.

This Monday sees the start of a new challenge over at Crafty Boots Challenges and Stephanie-Emma has come up with a great bingo card challenge. This is the grid if you’d like to come and join us:

The stamp is the celtic knot heart image which comes from the Gecko Galz new digital stamp collection Celtic Twist. I photopied it on to some acetate (the special kind for inkjet printers) and then used a fine tipped glue applicator to flood the pattern with clear glue before sprinkling with gold glitter.

Once dry, I added glue to the reverse side of the acetate (the side on which the glitter is) and placed it on som red card. Once that had dried, I cut out the heart image.

The fabulous paper is from the Gecko Galz It’s Not Easy Being Green set. I manipulated it in Microsoft Word so that it was a square, slightly smaller than the card. I created a mat from red card, edged both it and the green with gold leaf pen before layering on to a white card.

P1070161

I added some gold glitter dots all around the edge and used glue gel to attach the heart so it is raised.

P1070165

The sentiment is another digital image from the Gecko Galz, this time from the Heart and Soul collection. I’ve printed it on to red card, edged it with gold leaf pen and then applied to the card with glue gel.

Please do buzz over to the Crafty Boots Challenges blog to see what the rest of the design team have been up to and I hope you’ll share your projects with us too.

  1. This is absolutely stunning! I just love the colors and dimension. You have a lovely way of adding details–never heavy-handed or cluttered, just right.

Thank you for including Knox’s mom’s blog address, even though it made me cry to read her post. (That doesn’t matter, because I was crying about him anyway.) What a sweet little fellow; I hope that his family is able to find comfort and healing, though I’m sure it will take a long time. At least it seems that they have many lovely friends to help and support them through all this You all seem to be a wonderful group that looks out for each other. That is a blessing in itself.
Peace and grace to all of you.

    • Aww sorry Roberta, I didn’t mean to make you cry. Hugs x I saw that cute picture of Knox today and it made me smile. Then later I found myself making funny faces, just as if he had been there in front of me! Amy and Friends is a fantastic support group for all the families and do a wonderful job. When you are in the room with all the families, who come to the UK from all over the world, it is amazingly positive and fun and the children are just a joy! There will be a big gap left by little Knox.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
