Even though I am now away for my six-week working summer, I am determined to keep in touch with crafty blog-land, even though it won’t be easy. I was super excited to see that Hels Sheridan was back in action with a new Sunday Stampers’ Challenge. I’ve missed this hugely in her absence, and was determined to rustle up an entry before my departure. The theme this week is beauty or beautiful.
My stamp collection seems to grow on a weekly basis (I’ve really no idea how this happens!) and these two beauties are recent acquisitions from Rubber Moon. I stamped the “Dreamer Girl,” by Mindy Lacefield, on to watercolour paper and coloured her with Aqua Markers. The moon was stamped on to regular paper and coloured with Promarkers. Both have been paper pieced over the original stamping.
The background is another cocktail of distress inks – the fab new Blueprint Sketch together with Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves. I stencilled on a few stars using a Dylusions stencil and white gesso. The words were printed on my computer.
Thanks for buzzing by.
