Today my friend is getting married 🙂 We have been celebrating and counting down to the big day for quite some time and now it’s actually here! When I realised the wedding was on the 25th of the month I decided to make her a little Advent style Countdown Calendar:
There were 25 little gifts to open, starting on June 1st and now we have reached the final one! (A small bottle of Prosecco!). Today I am sharing the card that I made for the big day. Although I know some of the plans and details for today, I have purposely asked not to be let in on every secret so there are still lots of surprises to come. The card I have created for the lucky couple is based on the details I do know!
I have based my card on the colour scheme for the day. I know that bride is having hydrangeas and gypsophila in her bouquet and that the groom will be sporting an ivory rose. I know Jayne was in a quandary about how to finish the buttonholes off and the hessian and pearl idea you see here was one of the possibilities!
As I have used navy as the base for my card, I’ve decorated the inside of the card so that it can be written on in ordinary ink!
Now the bride may have faced many dilemmas when it came to making choices about the details of her big day, but this guest has had her own going on too – what to wear/!!!! I have tried on and returned more outfits than you would ever think possible and finally narrowed it down to three – yes just three!!! Although I think I know which one will make the cut, on the day of departure I was still undecided so, just to be sure, I’ve taken them all with me! Watch this space 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thanks for buzzing by.
