Time And Relative Dimension In Space!

I quite impressed myself coming up with the title of this post – I didn’t even have to look it up (although I did check I’d got it right). Who is/was your favourite Doctor? I did like David Tennant but I think I have to be loyal to Jon Pertwee who steered the TARDIS during my youth and starred in the episodes that I found the most scary. They also starred Fraser Hines, who later went on to play Joe Sugden in Emmerdale, and I was in love with him.

Anyway, in case you haven’t guessed, today’s project is featuring a TARDIS which I made using Stampin’ Up’s telephone stamp from the Feeling Sentimental stamp set.

I’m sharing this over at Sunday Stampers where the theme is “Guys.” Obviously the guy in question here is Doctor Who.

I stamped the phone box TARDIS in blue and added some flaps on either side so that I could make it stand away from the card.

The sentiment is part of the same Stampin’ Up! Stamps set and used some white sparkle embossing powder  that I’ve had forever. The background was created by first dotting some blue card with a white pen and then I created a halo effect for the TARDIS by dabbing on some watered down white paint. The stunning glittery stars and mat are Stampin’ Up! Glimmer Paper.

I feel like I’ve done a bit of time travel this week with several early starts and late finishes, not to mention trips to strange kingdoms  such as Barnsley and Wakefield!  The upside is that Friday arrived before I even realised Monday was over and given that it is also the longest day of the year, hopefully we can all enjoy an extended evening before the nights start drawing in! 😉

  1. LOVE IT!!! How fab is that! Did you use your sonic screwdriver to assemble the flaps (see, I nearly went down the “blue” route there… rofl) David Tennant by far is my fave Doctor. never really took to Matt Smith, just seemed a bit too childish… IYKWIM. Tom Baker was a great Doctor and Jon Pertwee – I don’t remember him as the Doctor but I do remember standing next to him, he was dressed as Worzel Gummidge, the photo was on the front page of the Yorkshire Evening Post… I was 15 and mortified!! Still have the pic somewhere! Anyways… thanks for joining in with the Sunday Stamper! x

  2. I am in love! I adore this card, it is fabulous. I suppose it appeals to my love of all things Dr Who (well, apart from cybermen, daleks and those stone angel things – they really scare me!). Your sky is amazing.

PS It has to be David Tennant, although Matt Smith is great.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
