The last green to be seen?

Happy St Patrick’s Day! Despite there being an Irish contingent on my mum’s side of the family, I have never really celebrated St Patrick’s Day, although I have been known to quaff the occasional Guinness. However, I have certainly celebrated this year through a heap of craft projects which I have thoroughly enjoyed doing. Today’s project is not specifically for St Patrick’s Day but it certainly is green and I shall be sharing it over at Papercraft Star for their current challenge:

This card has been made using lots of lovely Stampin’Up! goodies and you can find the full details of all the products I have used over on my Stampin’ Up blog Mrs Beez Stampin’

I’ve simply cut strips of different green papers, making each one shorter than the last, and layered them along the paper. Then I cut two strips to run horizontally and topped them with a bow and a button. Love that green and cream combination.

I’ve stamped out a Thank You and mounted this onto a punched scallop circle.

That was all there was to it!

Now unless any blog challenges demand it, I shall be taking a rest from using green for awhile. I have it on good authority that brown is the new green – watch this space to see what I mean!
