As promised, I’m back with the details of two samples I made for the new challenge over at My Artistic Adventures Challenge Blog If you didn’t buzz over and take a sneaky peek (and you really should make the journey because there are the most amazing samples from the other DT members and guest designers) here are the tags I created:

I made one and then decided I wanted to try another colour version.Once again I am using the Pink Victorian Vintage Holly Girl and this time I’ve combined it with the Vintage Shabby Chic Christmas Holly Tag. This sheet has all the elements you need to make a superb layered tag.Β The words were created using the Vintage Alphabet Sheet.Β I’ve outlined everything with glitter and used glue gel to create dimension.

On the first tag I used red seam binding and a little red sweetheart blossom.

On the second, I used pale blue seam binding and a pink blossom plus I added in some bejewelled snowflakes.

I hope you’ll come and join us by sharing your Christmas/Winter/Thanksgiving project and don’t forget Heather as a superb give away going on too.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Wonderful, she is so cute, I understand that she must go in paired, and your tiny flowers are so beautiful! I couldn’t choose at all. (Lisette last photo is not coming up, only a question mark… tried 2 times to load it.)

  2. These are sweet; I like the idea of changing up the color scheme. Are you the little girl who loves Christmas?? I know I am, and I bet you are, too πŸ™‚

    • Thank you Roberta and I am absolutely that girl, so glad you are too. It’s my favourite phrase so expect to see it a lot πŸ™‚

  3. You have been very busy. I cannot decide which tag is my favourite but that is probably because they are very similar.

I can see that you are gradually getting ready for Christmas. Well done you – note to self, must try harder
