Strawberries but no cream

Our new challenge over at Crafty Boots is “summertime.” Today’s card is featuring something that encapsulates the taste of summer – the strawberry!

This adorable little strawberry image is a stamp from Rubber Moon. I’ve stamped it onto watercolour paper and then coloured it in with Promarkers.

I wanted to keep my design clean and simple so opted for one of my favourite additions – some torn and frayed scraps of fabric. I also added a tiny sweetheart blossom.

Now as the title of this post suggests, I prefer my strawberries without cream and tend to eat them just as they are or, just occasionally, I’ll add a little ice cream and some crunched up meringue! What about you?

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Mouthwatering card, or could that just be because I adore strawberries – and anyway I can get them. I keep wondering what all this rain is doing to my favourite Sharrington Strawberries.

    • Not sure I have ever had Sharrington but I shall look out for them now. Hoping for some strawberries from the SW whilst we are here xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
