Having spent the last two days working in York, squeezing in a little visit to my favourite tea shop, Betty’s, whilst I was there, today I am heading back and guess what? I’m having another afternoon tea. Well, you can never have too much of a good thing can you? One of my work colleagues, who is also my line manager, is about to celebrate her half-century so her supervisees have organised a celebratory tea in her honour. We have a few surprises for her along the way so it should be fun.
You might remember this 50th birthday card that I made not that long ago? I added a gold 50 after I had shared it on my blog:
This design was very straight forward so I decided to use it again, just substituting the washi tape for a gold script design:
I also added a mount of gold mirri card. The reflective qualities of the mirri have made the edges look slightly strange in the photograph.
As my sister-in-law is going to be forty at the start of next month I thought I’d use the same design again, this time opting for ruby red and diamante.
I returned to the music washi tape as she is a pianist.
Finally, I also have friends who recently celebrated their ruby wedding anniversary so adapted the design for their card.
Thanks for buzzing by.
