Still scribbling

We are entering the second week of our “Queens, Princesses and Crowns” challenge over at Crafty Boots Challenges so I have another card, following that theme, to share this morning:

Having enjoyed scribbling for my project yesterday, I decided to include a little when creating this background. I used watercolour paper and Vintage Photo ink, dabbing the inkpad onto the paper and then spreading with a water brush. I added scribbled text and splats using archival ink and stamps from my collection.

Next, I got out my thin, black sharpie and scribbled around the edges and in the corners.

The fairy princess, which you probably recognise as Tim Holtz’ Winged Things, was also stamped using black archival and then coloured with distress inks blended with water.

I added flower trim, book pages and washi tape across the centre of the card and popped the fairy over the top. I added some little gems to the top of the crown to finish everything off.

Wishing you a fabulous week and thanks for buzzing by.

  1. You are certainly riding the tail of the crafting mojo comment at the moment Mrs Beez. I love this fabulous background and your alternative fairy queen is amazing.

    Have a great week.
