Spring Blossoms

We are entering week two of our Spring challenge over at Crafty Boots and I have thoroughly enjoyed catching up with all the entries we have had so far. There’s still time to play and, as always when we reach the midway point, there is some further inspiration over on the blog this morning.

The stamp I have used here is actually called Tall Poppies and comes from LC designs, but I think it works just as well as a wild flower in spring colours. I’ve coloured the blooms with Promarkers and then stamped some grass over the top to anchor them. I swirled on a little ink with an inkduster and created a base mat from some pink gingham card.

I’m back off for week 2 of my supermarket cooking and will look forward to catching up with you at the end of it when, hopefully, I will have a big, but tired, grin on my face 🙂

If you’d like to see the other spring project I’m sharing this week, just click on the photo’ below.

  1. Really sweet card, fab stamp, lovely colours and I am particularly attracted to your grass stamp. I do not think I have ever seen one before and think I may need one.

I hope this week passes by painlessly.

    • Thank you. I tried to see if I could find that grass stamp online, it’s Hero Arts and I no longer have the packaging but the serial number is C1379. It doesn’t come up on the Hero Arts website any more – it’s a great set as it has about 6 individual flowers plus a little ladybird, butterfly and snail. xx

    • Thank you Ros. Oh my goodness today I have driven through driving rain, driving sleet, high winds and then dazzling sunshine that almost blinded me as it reflected off the wet roads!!!

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
