I hope you had a fabulous weekend, especially if you were celebrating Mothering Sunday. I was spoiled by the three Beez men with even youngest Beez putting in appearance in the early hours before he began his very long shift at work. I also treated myself to a day off from clearing up my craft space and spend a couple of happy hours getting painty and messy.

Time for a new challenge over at Crafty Boots Challenges and the theme for the next fortnight will be “Spring.” Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT have been up to – there fabulous work is bound to put a spring in your step. Here’s my contribution for this week:

I absolutely love this little gardening fairy image from the Gecko Galz Victorian Spring Kit. If only there were a little gardening fairy who would come and work her magic in our garden. It’s looking very sorry for itself after the ravages of a cold winter.

I’ve layered up papers from the same kit, together with some pale blue pearlescent card and then topped it all off with the image.

Lace, ribbon and pretty spring blossoms with pearl centres are the finishing touches.

I hope you will come and play along with us at Crafty Boots and, as ever, there is the chance to win a Guest Designer spot for those who make the top 3.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Your gardening fairy image is so cute in her bowler hat and I love the papers you have used here. The flowers. ribbon and lace finish your card perfectly.
