Softly, softly

We have a new challenge theme starting over at Crafty Boots Challenges. For the next two weeks we are asking you to share projects that have spots or dots.

I really did try to resist my white dots addiction but sometimes there’s not a lot you can do, try as you like the inevitable just happens.

I inked up the background using Faded Denim, Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet. You will recognise the PaperArtsy leafy branch stamp from the Flora and Fauna 3 set. In addition to colouring the leaves in black I also gave them an icy coat of crystal clear glitter and a sprinkle of white glitter. The cute little owl is from Rubber Moon.

I’ve add a mount of silver glitter card and a little arrangement of pine cones and berries. The sentiment stamp has been in my collection for a long time and I’m afraid IΒ can’t remember where it originates from.

I have a white pen with a large bullet tip and I used this to create the falling snow, clustering little groups together to get the blurry effect of tumbling flakes.

Make you buzz over to Crafty BootsΒ to see what the rest of the DT have created and hope you have time to join in the fun by sharing your projects with us.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. This is such a cute card, love the sweet little owl and your brilliant falling snow – ever so briefly reminiscent of Saturday morning , before it all turned to rain!

  2. You’ve got to know I love this card–white dots on steroids!! A wonderfully done project in every respect! Happy Christmas season! xox

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
