Simple Snowman

If you were here yesterday you will know that I am currently on a little trip to the south of England. All being well, today Mr Beez and I are off to the wedding of a very dear friend. Hopefully, I will have also decided what to wear! Yes, I know you are supposed to organise these things well ahead of the day but, as I type this on Sunday evening ready to schedule, I am really not sure which outfit to choose. As we are travelling by train, I have had to narrow my choice down to three possible options!!!

Choosing an outfit may have taken me days but whipping up today’s project, a Christmas card, took me no longer than ten minutes.

I’ve used some paper and a Christmas tree image by Robyn Gough, who the Gecko Galz have teamed up with for this month’s cross promotion, and added a snowman image from the Galz Snowman Way digital stamp set. The snowman images in this set are seriously cute and it was very difficult to know which one to choose.

I arranged all the images digitially, in Microsoft Word, and then printed out a second snowman image so I could paper piece it once I had coloured it with Promarkers. That’s all there was to it, other than to add a tiny bit of glitter for a frosty finish.

Over at Crafty Boots Challenges our current theme is Christmas. Do buzz over and take a look at the mid-way inspiration projects that our special guest designers have created, they are truly amazing.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Ten minutes, amazing, I would never have guessed this was such an easy make, it looks fab. I love the little snowman and the pine tree.

    Have a great trip.

  2. That is a very jolly snowman! I think quick cards must be the way forward! Unfortunately even when I make a 10 minute card I end up spending over an hour deciding what I’m doing before the 10 mins of making it!!! xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
