Today I have had to return to the scene of Saturday’s dismal football match – Hull. I seem to spend an extraordinary amount of time travelling between there and Sheffield. Today it was all in the name of work. I’m still recovering from two days further out in the East Riding of Yorkshire. My knees have decided to play up so my walking up and downstairs is quite a sight to behold. Travelling, as I do, by train there is an awful lot of going upstairs, across bridges and down the other side. I must be keeping my fellow travellers thoroughly entertained, except for the ones who are getting cross because I hold them up for a nano-second.

Today’s card is another of my Gecko Galz Design Team Projects using an image from the Stitch in Time Collage set and some paper from the Gatsby paper pack.

I’ve layered the image onto some black card, framed it with some ivory crochet lace and then used 3D foam to apply to the background layers.

I’ve used a tape measure image, also from Stitch in Time, down the side and then topped it all off with a coordinating bow and resin flower.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. I love this sewing machine image and the colours are fabulous.

My joints are twinging just reading your post. Try hunting around the station, I discovered that station lifts are one of this country’e best kept secrets but they are often there – your knees will thank you.

    • Hope your joints have recovered. Sadly, I get a bit panicky in lifts – so it’s the devil and the deep blue sea for me!!!xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
