Rainbow thank you

Today is my first day back at work after my lovely, long Christmas break. It will be especially hard as I have to go into the office (I generally work from home) and of course Mr Beez will be staying at home enjoying his retirement! Sigh! It feels like the last fortnight just whizzed by and already we have reached the halfway point of our something old/something new challenge over at Crafty Boots.

I have combined new and old supplies to create this little thank you card. The frame stamp is an old one and I’ve coloured the interior with distress inks to create a watercolour rainbow effect. The Thank You stamp is new, picked up in the sales.

The front of the card is slightly smaller than the back so I added a strip of colour down the exposed strip.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Don’t know how you got those inks to look so soft and muted but it’s gorgeous. Love simplicity of card.
Sure hope you had lots of relaxation and maybe got to do some thing fun during your long break, (just not long enuf?). How were your holidays? Hope absolutely fantastic.
    Happy week

    • Thank you – I love playing and blending with the inks – I use a water brush to apply these and then blotted with paper to take out some of the colour πŸ™‚

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
