Pink patisserie

The weeks seem to be flying by and I can’t believe we already almost halfway through October. I also can’t believe that it is time for a new challenge over at Crafty Boots Challenges and, in case you haven’t already guessed, the theme is pink. The DT have created some stunning projects so be sure to buzz over and check out their work. Here’s the card I created:

This pretty piece of patisserie image is from the Gecko Galz Birthday Bash collage set. I’ve simply layered it on to some deep pink cardstock and some silver glimmer paper.

I’ve added on some scraps of fabric, a pretty candystripe bow and a paper rose

I can almost smell the sugary yumminess!

Whilst we are on the subject of cake, on Saturday I completed another part of my afternoon tea research project by spending a very pleasant few hours at The Landmark Hotel in London.

I have to tell you that these were as delicious as they looked. The eagle-eyed amongst you may have spotted that there is one cake missing! My friend couldn’t wait and had tucked in before I had chance to take my photo’!

Have a good week and thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Fabulous sugary confection, I love the image with the rose embellishments and the pretty ribbon.

However, move over and let me at the cakes, they look scrummy.
