Peachy pink

Just a very quick post today as I am, once again, setting off on my travels and will be spending the rest of the week in Hull. I’m hoping that, having missed the Northern Lights yesterday, that I will be able to pick up some eyeware so I can take a peek at the partial eclipse that is due on Friday. Anyway, putting astronomical phenomenon to one side, I didn’t want to miss out again on joining in over at City Crafter Challenge Blog so have a quick card to share with you for their photo’ inspired challenge this week.

CCCB inspiration

I’ve taken the colours and the posies as my inspiration for this card:

The paper and the image are both from The Gecko Galz. Digitally, I removed the background from the image and then layered it on to the paper before printing out.

The only detail I added was to colour the hair with a Promarker and some flowersoft to add colour and dimension to the posy.

A little ink around the edge, a coordinating bow and some heavy lacy trim finish it all off.

Thanks for buzzing by and I shall look forward to seeing you on the dark side of the moon, or is it the dark side of the sun???!!

    • Thank you Ros, I was determined not to miss out playing along this week, especially with such a lovely inspiration photo’.

  1. This is so sweet and lovely, Lisette, with that perfect lace to ground her! All the corals are fabulous, especially the color of the ribbon! And flower soft, gosh, I haven’t seen that in ages and I don’t know why. It adds so much great interest to her bouquet!! Thank you so much for playing at City Crafter! Enjoy the astronomical delights!! Hugs, Darnell

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
