October with the Galz

Once again it is my time to feature on the Gecko Galz Blog which is showcasing my DT samples for October. As you know, September was a super busy month for me, so finding time to create my projects was particularly challenging this time. As always you can pick up a FREE digital stamp. Scroll to the end of this post to find it.

I’m starting with the of projects I have already shared over here keep reading for the new bits and bobs. If you would like to find the full details of how I created these, click on the photo’ to link to the original post.

And now for some new projects:

This is another image from the Birthday Bash collage set. I’ve layered the image on to pink and black cardstock and added a double row of diamantes and some black pom-pom trim. The ribbon, which reminds me of a liquorice allsort, is from my stash and I’ve topped it with a black rose.

This fabulous image is from the Fall Into Nature collage set. I’ve used it here as an autumnal greetings card but I think it would work equally well for a Halloween card. Again I’ve used simple mats and layers in coordinating cardstock, some gingham ribbon, paper roses and black satin leaf trim.

As promised, here is the free digi that you can grab for your collection. (And don’t forget that each DT member has a free digi that they are giving away on their blogs, you can find the links over on the Gecko Galz blog).

I was super excited to discover that my freebie for this month was a Christmas one. Here’s what I created with it:

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. I hope you had a great weekend.

Wow, I cannot believe that another month has gone by, that really was quick. As always, stunning projects, so hard to choose a favourite. Mmm, maybe not, I really love ‘Pasty Face’.

It seems like you are issuing a personal challenge for me to come up with something a little different with your freebie image – and don’t think I did not spot that you have made another Christmas card. I’ll be back on that one.

    Dionne xx

  2. Outstanding linette, so awesome. Love them all but especially little girl and moon, the owl card. I love colors you use, always speak to my color heart. I am very influenced by colors in my life I guess, especially what we live with.
Will have to go get that digital image, keep forgetting to unless you mention it.
Have great week. Having so much pain with darned right shoulder. Finally going to orthopedist on 20th. Afraid might have to replace shoulder or some kind of surgery. I”ll be bionic woman pretty soon. When I went for jury duty few months ago kept making the alarms buzz, finally guard asked me if I had phony limbs, yup, both knees. It’s getting harder for me to hold my right arm in position to type. Have wonderful week dear lady.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
