New York Christmas

Time for a new challenge over at Crafty Boots and our theme is Winter Wonderland.  As many of you know, last December I was lucky enough to fulfil a lifetime’s dream and spend a week in New York. It has to be my favourite holiday of all time and I don’t think a day goes by when I don’t think about it. Mr Beez is just the same and so for his Christmas card this year I thought I would capture a little bit of the magic in a snow globe card:

The die and the stamps are all from Clearly Besotted. Having cut out the snow globe, I created the little scene by stamping directly on to the circle that was left over. I added a little acetate to the back of the snow globe itself and applied a light coating of clear glitter glue for added sparkle.

I used small foam pads to apply the snow globe frame over the stamped centre.

A tiny glittery heart in the corner finishes it off.

Having sworn I wasn’t going to make my own cards this year, I ended up doing just that and finally got the last few finished last night. Next year I am definitely buying them!!!

Thanks for buzzing by.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
