June always brings with it a card making challenge for not only is it my wedding anniversary, it is also Mr Beez birthday and Father’s Day. These three events also fall in quick succession. Therefore I am very relieved that not only have I completed and presented my wedding anniversary card for Mr Beez I have also managed to complete his Father’s Day card and have a design in mind for his birthday. Phew! Today I’d like to share the Father’s Day card which I will be sharing over at Really Reasonable Ribbon for challenge #96 which is masculine and ribbon:

This is based on an idea I saw on Pinterest and I thought it would be perfect for Mr Beez who sports a moustache! This particular moustache is a wooden embellishment I picked up on Ebay and coloured with Promarkers. I did toy with adding some glitter and thought better of it!

I’ve created mats and layers from some Stampin’ Up! designer series paper and cream card. The greeting was printed out on my computer.

P1080445Β In the centre I’ve added a piece of diamond satin ribbon, from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and topped it off with a little brad.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Amazing card, it is very masculine and yet you have managed to include some lovely decorative elements. The moustache is very on trend and I love the ribbon and brad embellishment.

  2. Bravo, excellent male card, love mustache and ribbon with beautiful button and all embellishments, the mats are great with writing on paper behind. You must have the best and most active imagination, every card you do is so awesome.
Happy Anniversary. Boy all those events to celebrate at once. Like it used to be for my family in July. ( when I divorced 1st. hubs got rid of two things, his b/d and our anniversary).
    Happy days Lisette
