Today I’m sharing another card that uses my snowflake dies. This time without the stamping and I have to tell you that after Thursday’s fandango of prising the shapes out of the dies, thicker card makes the job a lot easier.
I will be sharing this card over at Really Reasonable Ribbon for Challenge #83 – Christmas/Winter Holidays and ribbon. My original intention was to use some more of that RRR dreamy, creamy satin ribbon that I used yesterday but I..er.. messed it up so had to change my plans.
For the background I built up layers of dark brown, gold glitter and chocolate card. The top layer was embossed using a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. I love the glittery gold against the brown card.
I die cut three snowflakes, in different sizes and layered them up, adding a pearl to the centre.
The sentiment is from Anna Griffin.
Thanks for buzzing by.
