More monochrome

I’m buzzing in today with a reminder of our current challenge over at Crafty Boots and the theme is monochrome. I have been in awe of my friend and DT teammate Dionne’s ability to whip up, with ease,  monochrome cards that are not black and white. So, inspired by her creations, I fought hard against my black and white blinkers to create my card!

This is quite appropriate really given my recent trip to the Netherlands as the blue and white reminds me of the famous Delft pottery, a place we visited whilst there.

You will recognise the design from a card I made previously and you can find all the details, including a link to the template I used, by clicking on the picture at the end of this post.

All the patterned papers are from the Gecko Galz Blue Willow paper pack.

I hope you are enjoying the long weekend – it looks like things might be warming up….just a tiny bit! 🙂

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. I think you have really cracked monochrome using other than black and white, this Delft inspired design is stunning, and Nellie looks just as cute in blue as she does in your other beautiful card.
