Monday morning blues

Well I can’t say I actually have the Monday morning blues but it fits with my post for today! We have a new challenge over at Crafty Boots Challenges and the theme is “Red, White and/or Blue.”

In case you don’t know this little lady, may I introduce Nina, another fabulous little lady by Magda Polakow for Stampotique. I like to think of her as Agatha’s less melancholy little sister.

I stamped her onto card stock and then stamped the little poppies all around her. The poppy stamp is one I picked up from the GNPE in Harrogate but I can’t remember who it is by. I’ve dusted some Salty Ocean distress ink all over, using a mask to protect Nina.

I’ve then coloured the images with a combination of Promarkers and Polychromos. The Happy Birthday stamp is by Chocolate Baroque. I’ve added a big red gingham bow and some tiny little bows to Nina’s bunches.

Be sure to buzz across to Crafty Boots Challenges and see what the rest of the DT have been up to and we look forward to seeing your red, white and blue projects.

Happy Monday and thanks for buzzing by.

  1. She is soooo cute and I love the idea of her being Agatha’s less melancholy little sister. The teeny tiny bows are adorable and look fab with the big bow. Brilliant job on that background.

    Have a great week.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
