Here is the picture inspiration for this week’s challenge over at Papercraft Star.811c8f204d509d2079270d8030b95a74

I decided to pick up on the metal to create this card:

The central flower was made using silver mirri card and some Spellbinder’s dies. Once cut, I then ran the flower layers through an M’Bossabilities folder to create some texture.

I know you all appreciate how difficult it is to photograph anything that is made from mirri card. Here it almost looks gold!.

The background was created from mats and layers of silver mirri card and embossed white card. The top layer, that holds the flower, is on 3D foam and there’s a strip of white crochet lace underneath.

I’ve added a matching sentiment and some pearls.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Woww, fabulous. I love the silver and white look. There is something about white embossed polka dots I think the give a card an air of sophistication.

PS This week I have been saving my drinks cans to try this technique, what a coincidence.
