Mary, Mary

Happy 4th July to all my lovely friends and followers across the pond and to those who will be celebrating today in the UK. I’m sorry I don’t have a 4th July project to share with you today but I hope you’ll like this pretty little card:

I’d overlooked this card from last month’s Gecko Galz Design Team samples and as I want to get sharing this month’s projects I thought I better get it posted on my blog asap. I’ve used paper from the Carnival paper pack and an image from the June Dreams collage sheet.

I’ve layered them up with pink and green cardstock and then cut out individual flowers from the paper and applied them with glue gel for a bit of dimension and added some Vintage Photo Stickles to the centres.

I’ve used some pretty lace across the bottom to complete the look.

Now as we are at the beginning of the month you can of course buzz over to the Gecko Galz website and pick up some free images and papers. There’s a fabulous whimsical toadstool digi stamp as well as a lush summery paper and an art deco image. In addition there is a buy one get one free sale on.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. I never thought to do something for the 4th of July, now I wish I had.

Your Mary, Mary card is so sweet, gorgeous papers and such a pretty colour. The image reminds me of a picture my mum use to have when I was a child, it had a lady just like this made with what looked like colour foiled papers seen through an aperture.

    • Thank you. I wish I had had the time as I have some fabulous images that I haven’t yet used. You have conjured up a fabulous image of your mum’s picture. xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
