In the meadow…

Today, Mr Beez and I will be wending our, probably weary, way home after our little trip. Yesterday, we had a jam packed day planned in London and I’m hoping, as I schedule today’s post, we will have had time for some shopping before we catch our train. I will tell you all about it when I get back!

In my absence, I thought I would share another quick and easy snowman card:

Like yesterday’s, this uses some digital paper by Robyn Gough and another fabulous image from the Gecko Galz Snowman Way digital stamp. Don’t you just love this field of snowmen? I told you these images were seriously cute!

I positioned the image of the snowmen over the parts of the paper that had the most white patches and then printed out onto card. The hats and scarves were coloured with Promarkers.

I used a Snowtex pen to add a glittery, snowy edge all around the border.

This scene reminds me of when I was a primary school teacher. At one of the schools I taught in, the children were allowed out onto the field, provided they had appropriate clothing and footwear, when it had been snowing. The result was usually a field of snowmen just like this. One year, long after the snow had gone, there were still some clumps, remnants of the snowmen’s bodies, left behind. Despite the caretakers best efforts with endless kettles of hot water the clumps remained – not very helpful when you’ve got a football match organised!!

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Oh I love your snowmen, every and each one of them is a real character, and your sparkling snow edge is a wonder addition! I would love to make some shopping in London, I need a car to take the ferry, no doubt!

    • Thank you. I love shopping in London too – train is good, although it does limit the amount you can buy (so that may not be a bad thing!!!)

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
