Today I am sharing a card that I will be linking up with the challenge over at City Crafter Challenge Blog where you have to use at least two different backgrounds and a minimum of five flowers. I think I’ve ticked those particular boxes – take a look:

Although I love the autumn colour palette I particularly like this image, from the Gecko Galz Harvest Time ephemera set, as it isn’t in what I would call traditional autumnal colours. I’ve mounted it on some pearlescent card and then added a border of ruffle lace. I used 3D foam to apply this to the card then popped on some pearls.

I’ve used more pearlescent card as the base and then some lacy patterned paper from My Mind’s Eye Sweetest Thing (Honey)collection and a damask design, by Tim Coffey for K and Company, that you probably recognise by now.

P1050803The ribbon is white seam binding that I’ve coloured with Victorian Velvet distress ink and then crunched up to create a crinkled look.

There’s a bow and some tiny rosebuds  in the top corner…

… and more roses and a larger bow in the other.

I am also sharing this card over at Really Reasonable Ribbon for their Shabby Chic and Ribbon challenge.P1050804

Thanks for buzzing by.
