Gold stars

Another week and for me, another country! Having been over the border in Scotland for the last fortnight I’ve made another quick turnaround, unpacked and repacked, and, yesterday, jetted off to Brussels. I’m due to spend the week there so forgive me if there is a slight delay in visiting your blogs and I’m MIA for challenges. However, I couldn’t let my Crafty Boots DT teamies and leave the country without producing a project for our new “Gold/Silver” challenge.

I’ve gone for gold, in the crafting sense, and a bit of a CAS look. The musical notes are washi tape whilst the sentiment is stamped. I used punches to cut the stars from gold glimmer card.

This card will be perfect for my musically talented friend whose birthday is coming up next month.

Buzz over to Crafty Boots and see what the rest of the DT have been up to and hopefully you will have linked up your own Gold/Sliver project by the time I’m back on Saturday 🙂

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Bring on the sparkle, wow that glitter has a great impact, it is like Strictly on a card! And I have got to have some of that washi tape – I thought it was a stamp and was wondering where you had got it from but washi tape is even better.

I hope you are wowing them in Brussels.

  2. Well you international traveler you. Too bad you have to work when you travel. So envious, would love to see all those countries including and especially yours.
Your card is so pretty and simple which makes it even prettier. The stars are very vibrant on the card, love it Lisette
You sure are busy girl. Guess I’ll have to wait to send you your box when you are going to be staying home. I can send things FedEx thru my daughter who works for them, she gets 75% discount. Have been accumulating little bit for your box. Hope you have great trip. Do you stay there all week then and have to get someplace to stay? Hope your work pays for nice places to stay. Hope your week abroad goes quickly so you can get back home to your hubs and family.

    • This is a very rare occurrence, I usually travel, but not so far from home! Bless you for the box and thank you for your lovely comments 🙂 xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
