Today I am sharing another of my Gecko Galz DT projects, this time one that is using some of the new releases for October.

For this month’s cross-promotion the Galz have teamed up with Song in my Heart who gave us some fabulous papers to marry up with the Gecko Galz images. This one is from the Glamour Girls Jewel It Set. Although the collage sheet is designed to use on domino sized projects, the images enlarge beautifully and so can be used for other projects too.

I’ve layered up the papers and matted them onto some pale blue cardstock. The image is layered onto black and mustard card. I’ve added some lace and coordinating ribbon plus paper flowers with glittery centres. It’s only looking at the image now that I realise I have missed an opportunity to add a couple of bits of bling to her hat so I may go back and do that!

The sentiment was printed on my computer and is attached with a little orange peg.

Today I am off down to London with an overnight stay for work so will once again have to put my crafting on hold, but not for long and trust me, Halloween is firmly on my radar! Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. What a beautiful combo of pastel colours and that black/orange accent! Lovely vintage image, too, the hat reminds me to that typical art deco ones 🙂

    • Thank you – for me there’s something about her popping on her lippy, I used to think that was such a sophisticated act!

  2. Fab Mrs Beez, the blob of glitter in the centre of the flowers looks great and I love the cute little peg.

Hope your trip to the smoke goes well.
