Cute little witch card

Today I am sharing my first Halloween card of the season. Last year, my first in blogland, I remember having so much fun making lots of Halloween inspired projects and have been looking forward to getting started this year.

I am sharing this card over at Really Reasonable Ribbon for the current challenge, #81. which is “Fall or Halloween and Ribbon.”

I’ve used papers from the Gecko Galz, together with some orange cardstock, to create mats and layers. All the edges were inked with Vintage Photo distress ink.

The main image is also from the Gecko Galz, from the Little Witches Jewel It set. I’ve enhanced the skirt with some gorgeous sheer orange ribbon from one of my Really Reasonable Ribbon Club selections and then  cut out a second image and decoupaged the top half over the original image. I’ve also decoupaged the little pumpkin so the card has lots of dimension.

P1050900In one corner I’ve created a little arrangement of orange flowers and black and orange leaf ribbon trims.

I’ve used more of that yummy orange ribbon across the bottom and to make a little bow for the top corner.

By the time you read this I will be wending my way home from the Harrogate paper craft show, probably with an empty purse! I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.

Thanks for buzzing by.
