Congratulations and celebrations

The theme for the fortnight over at Crafty Boots is diamonds. The DT have come up with superb samples so be sure to go and take a look. Bling is my thing, and I don’t need asking twice to go OTT with anything sparkly! Now the camera hasn’t really captured this card very well. It’s quite simple in style, but the wedgewood blue and white do look good together.

The patterned card is from Kanban and I’ve simply punched out some tiny blossoms and popped a little diamond (I wish!) in the centre of each one.

I’ve mounted the central design on white card and then on to coordinating blue cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in blue and popped on a couple more diamonds. A white seam binding bow is the finishing touch.

This card is quite appropriate for today as I’m sending congratulations to my cousin, Olivia, who is getting married today (so pleased the sun came out for her) and to her Mum, my Aunty Sue, who is 70. Tonight, Mr Beez and I will be partying but first, what on earth do I wear?????

You can see Olivia’s wedding card over at Mrs Beez Stampin  and check out the 70th birthday card here.
