Clean, simple and neutral

I was thrilled to learn that I had won the recent “One Stamp Two Ways” challenge over at City Crafter, particularly as the prize was to be a guest designer for this week’s challenge which is  Clean and Neutral – make a CAS card using neutral colours with this photo for inspiration:

And here’s the card that I designed

I used sandy toned designer papers to create ribbon strips then topped them with flowers in sand and white that were cut using a Spellbinders die. The strips were layered onto white card and then matted onto some sandy coloured paper.

I punched out some tiny white blossoms, just for contrast.

The finishing touch was to add the “friends” Chit-Chat sticker.

It was great to do a clean and simple card for a change and I love this colour combination. Be sure to buzz over to City Crafter to check out the fab projects that the Design Team have created.
