Craft packages ordered =1 (but I confesss, it was a mega Stampin’ Up! one), craft packages received =2 🙁
Yesterday I reported that my fruit bowl was brimming with an early delivery of eggs from the Easter bunny. I’m ashamed to say that I could no longer use the word brimming, and it’s unlikely that the Easter bunny will be topping the supplies up anytime soon as we’re in the midst of a snow day. To make up for it, here’s an early Easter card:
For this I have used someof this month’s new releases from the GeckoGalz. The background is the “sonnets” paper from the Wild Roses collection which I’ve layered up on some kraft paper. Don’t you just love that chocolate bar wrapper – so many lovely details? It’s from the Ephemera Days set. This is one of my favourite Gecko Galz sets, there is a huge variety of fabulous images. The super cute bunny is from Peeps and Hops. I think if I were doing this again I might decoupage the bunny and the egg and punch out some blue flowers to add some dimension.
I’ve added a strip of coffee seam binding across the bottom and a double bow. the finishing touch was a coordinating blue flower wiht an ivory button centre.
Don’t forget the Gecko Galz have some great offers on at the moment and you can check out the Spring Fling projects, including one by yours truly! Now, all this talk of bunnies and chocolate makes me think it’s time for a Creme Egg, whilst there are still one or two left!
