Carrying moonbeams

After my break in Devon I am even more certain of the fact that when you’ve been on holiday, you need another one, immediately, to get over it! I’ve been feeling shattered ever since we returned and it’s not as if I have been particularly busy at work! Take a look at the amazing view we had from our hotel room:

Can you see why I’m struggling to come back down to earth?! And I have to tell you that the weather was pretty much like this the whole time we were there!

I’ll share a few pictures of the BIG day, for those of you that would like to see them,Β at the end of this post. In the meantime, on with today’s post which is, of course, all about the Stampotique Designers’ Challenge.Β This week, the lovely Nellie has asked us to use black and white only. I made a little card:

I’ve used Small Moon and my favourite little character from Line UpΒ to create my little scene. The jar stamp is from my stash and the hanging stars are part of Great Moon.

I added a little sparkle to the moon and stars.

The words were printed from my computer and, after last time, I made a special effort to get the washi tape the right way up!!!

Now for those wedding photo’s:

Did you spot the fudge bar and the cocktail bar? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Have a lovely Sunday and thanks for buzzing by.

  1. I love this card, great theme and the way you have you used your jam jar is so clever. I have recently treated myself the a jam jar set but I have not used it yet, but you have given me ideas.

Devon looks beautiful and the bride stunning.

    Dionne xx

  2. You are so right about needing a vacation after vacation. I find going away exhausting sometimes and takes days to recover. Your card is simply adorable. I love everything about it. Another great idea on using a jar/mason jar stamp. Great job.

The view from your room is amazing. Beautiful wedding and the bride looks gorgeous.

    • I’m glad it’s not just me Sandra! So glad you like the card and thank you for your lovely comments I appreciate it hugely πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    • Thanks so much Sam. I love the song too – but Mr Beez does not appreciate me singing it (or anything else, LOL!) x

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
