Pinch and a punch, it’s the first of the month! As we know, the start of this particular month is always tricky as we try to avoid making fools of ourselves. I am the main trickster in this house but as I am scheduling this post, I won’t be able to let you know if I was successful or if I got caught out myself. Anyway, as it is the start of a new month I am very happy that I can now share my Gecko Galz DT projects with you.

This lovely tag image is from the Easter Parade Kit. I’ve edged it with gold glitter and then layered it onto some cream and brown card then topped it with a brown satin bow. I used an egg-shaped die to cut the card.

I’ve layered up ivory and tea-stained cardstock with some book pages, distressing and inking the edges.

To finish, I’ve used two types of ivory crochet lace and more brown ribbon plus some ivory sweetheart blossoms.

Don’t forget we have an Easter themed challenge over at Crafty Boots Challenges and there’s plenty of time for you to link up your projects.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. I’m always interested in ribbons and lace you use on projects, it all looks so pretty to enhance what you’ve made. A masterpiece as always. I’d love to see your craft room and all your supplies, must have so much from what you make. I have a thing for ovals, this one is just so.
You must be so busy, bet you keep your home just so also. Have to admit I don’t anymore. Doesn’t seem as important to me as when I was younger. Seem to always be in midst of one project or another so craft stuff is on chair, island, kitchen counter. My poor hubs.
Where do you get all your beautiful lace? Do you pick up little bits as you find them? I Have lots of lace I got in KY from decorators store.
Will you have all your kids at home on Easter Sunday for big dinner? Enjoy and don’t work too hard, enjoy your long weekend. Happy Easter

    • Thank you. I have quite a stash of ribbons all tangled up in a big ribbon spaghetti!! Much of my lace has come from Really Reasonable Ribbon where until recently I belonged to the monthly ribbon club. I had to stop my sub as I was drowning in ribbon! Now I get bits from Wild Orchid Crafts and off Ebay.My home is generally an untidy mess with my crafting space the biggest mess of all! I am an organised person except when it comes to crafting and I am not at all house proud, I’d rather live my life than spend it cleaning. The only thing I am a bit manic about is ironing and do it every day rather than let it pile up. Hoping for a family Easter lunch but not sure I can herd all the family into the same place at the same time, so me and Mr Beez might just have to eat it all!!! Have a good one! x

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
