Aqua colour challenge

Craft packages ordered =0, Craft packages received =0

Last week, I was lucky enough to receive a late birthday present from a friend, a beautiful glass cake stand in pale aqua. At the time I commented that it was inspiring me to change the colours of my dining room to aqua and silver. Coincidently, the theme over at City Crafter this week is to use a colour palette of aqua, silver, green and white. Now surely that’s a sign? Clearly I can’t (yet!) submit my dining room makeover for this challenge so I came up with this card instead:

I’ve layered up silver glitter card with some mint green and aqua designer papers. On the top layer I’ve added strips of aqua ribbon, more silver glitter card and some white lace. The daisy was made using a Spellbinder’s die and white card. The centre is an aqua button topped with a silver glitter sticker – a perfect fit! I’ve added some glittery branches and some ribbon tails behind the daisy.

The finishing touches were to add a little matching bow, some gems and a die cut sentiment.

Okay, where are those paint swatches? Thanks for buzzing by.

    • Thank you Dionne. As we are the slowest house decorators in the world I don’t think this will be happening any time soon so instead, I had a glass of Prosecco in an aqua champagne glass. Thought you might approve of that 🙂 xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
