A bit of green

As promised, I am back for the second time today and I can now share with you the theme for the new challenge over at My Artistic Adventures. If you were here earlier you might have guessed, from the project I shared with you, that it is “Bits of Green.” As well as my Artist Trading Blocks from this morning I’ve also made a little card (actually, I made two and you can take a sneaky peek of that over on the MAA blog – I will share all the details with you tomorrow!)

Heather produces the most amazing bingo cards and I’ve teamed up her St Patrick’s Day set with the papers from the Shamrock and Spring Green St Patrick’s Day digital paper sets plus a ticket from the Pink and Green Tickets. I have to confess to being totally in love with these papers.

I’ve layered up the bingo image with several of the papers, adding a little glitter around the edge and a tiny bow at the top.

The ticket has been embellished with glitter, a bow and a tiny pink roesbud then secured to the card with a peg.

A little bit of lace, green buttons and a glittery shamrock complete the look.

Buzz over to  MAA and check out the lovely projects that Heather and the rest of the DT have created and do come and join in with all your lovely bits of green there’s a chance to win some of Heather’s fab collage sheets and a Guest Designer spot too. Ooh, and don’t forget to buzz back here tomorrow to see my second card using these papers and images!

Thanks for buzzing by.

    • Well, green glitter seems to go a long, long way! And…. I just invested in that extra set of WOW glitters 🙂 xx

      • I have never had any WOW glitter but I do have some Martha Stewart fine glitter which is pretty amazing and only comes out for very special projects.

  1. You know green is just the colour that we need now, the winter seems to be so long and I can’t wait to see the first signs in nature, it gives so much hope. Fabulous card!

    • DO you know it felt like things were turning spring and then we hit a bitterly cold snap and more snow flurries 🙂

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
