Gosh Mondays do come around quickly! Another busy week successfully navigated – I was away for almost all of it – and another weekend of clearing up my crafty space makes is feel as if I don’t get to see the light of day. The tidy up seems to be creating more mess and I must admit that at the moment it all seems a bit overwhelming and I wonder if it will ever be in ship shape! All I can do is keep chip, chip, chipping away and believe that I will get there in the end!
Working in and around the current mess I have managed to create a little something for the new Crafty Boots Challenge. For the next fortnight we are asking you to use a sentiment in your project.
I thought I’d make the sentiment the main focus of the card, using a little freebie that I got with Craft Stamper magazine. I will confess I had planned to make this CAS but I got a little nervous about the white space!
I stamped the sentiment on to white card and then brushed a little ink around the edges before stamping the flowery branches.
I layered the white onto to some coordinating paper and then stamped and punched out the butterflies. I started with just one, but that space was still making me twitchy so stamped and punched until I was happy!
Be sure to buzz over to Crafty Boots to see what the other DT members have been up to and I hope you have time to share your creations with us all during the next fortnight.
Thanks for buzzing by.
