It’s (finally) beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Well finally, it’s done, the tree is up. It took about four hours before it was finished but it was well worth both the wait and the effort. My photo’ isn’t that great but I thought I’d share it with you as today’s project isn’t a Christmas one:

Today I am sharing one of my Gecko Galz design team projects and I apologise for it not being Christmassy although I suppose you could hang it from your tree if  you so wished:P1060482This is just a little piece of whimsy made from a chipboard ATC. All the images and papers are from the Gecko Galz.

I added the words (from the computer), a button and a little feather.

Across the bottom I’ve used gold Dresden trim and some net/tulle.

I love this lady’s serene appearance – bet she’s not getting ready for Christmas! I gave her a little paper rose in addition to the flowers already in her hair.

Now I’m off to put up some more fairy lights and then it must be time for some mulled wine.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Your tree looks gorgeous and I love your angel. It would look sweet on a vintage Christmas tree. Enjoy your mulled wine…sounds divine.

    • Thanks Sandra – following your great example of a tree in every room I’m wondering whether I need to do a vintage tree in one room of the house. Happy Christmas.x

  2. Incredible project as always Mrs. Beez, love the lady. Why can’t a person put her on a tree, people are doing all different kinds of trees these day. Your tree is very pretty and love color of your walls.
