Going on a journey

Craft packages ordered =0, craft packages received =0

I hope you caught the earlier post (see below) which featured some lovely butterfly tags by my friend Dionne who has crafted some lovely goodies to share with you as part of my butterfly project in support of Amy and Friends.

Today I am sharing a card that I have made for my boss, Caroline, who is sadly leaving our organisation next week. She is planning on doing lots of travelling so I thought this card would be appropriate:

P1050004The map image is from The Graphics Fairy. I altered the colour slightly and then edged it with Vintage Photo distress ink and layered it up on kraft paper.

P1040997The butterfly images are also from The Graphics Fairy, shaped with scissors and applied with glue gel. You will see I have used a double layer on the solo butterfly in the corner.

P1040996I’m sure you recognise the Tim Holtz “enjoy the journey” stamp. I stamped it on to another image of the map.

P1040998The finishing touch was the brown ribbon and bow.

P1050005I’m making a flying visit to London tomorrow, if the weather remains this hot, I’m not sure I shall enjoy the journey! Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Beautiful card, gorgeous sepia design and the butterflies came out a treat.

I hope your journey tomorrow isn’t too awful, try to avoid the tube during rush hour.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
