Do you believe? Altered matchbox

Today I’m sharing an altered matchbox that I made as one of my Gecko Galz Design Team Projects this month.

The beautiful little fairy comes from the Pixie Children ephemera set which is new this month. The rest of the papers and images are from the Wild Roses paper set that you will have seen me use many, many times as it is one of my favourites. Don’t forget that throughout May the Gecko Galz have a buy one get one free offer.

P1030920After covering the inside and outside of the box with paper, I cut out the little fairy plus two extra sets of wings so that I could make these dimensional. The wings have been glittered and I also popped on some little gems.

Her crown has also been glittered and she is sitting on a little carpet of moss.

The words were printed out on my computer and I’ve also decoupaged some little butterflies.

I’ve added lots of paper roses, in pastel shades, and a tiny curtain of lace to finish.

I think this little lady would be perfect to live in the fairy house that I made last week!

  1. OH my stars, your fairy match box and fairy house are so sweet, you’re sure inventive. Looks like it would have been lots of fun to make. You’re sure a talented lady.

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
