Butterfly Thank You

I can’t believe it’s already time for a new challenge over at Crafty Boots. It was only late on Friday evening that I realised that, as I was going to be away, I probably ought to get my DT project organised just in case I was back late on Sunday. The theme this week is “thank you,” chosen by the lovely Gabrielle who, sadly, is stepping down from the design team.

Here’s my project;

I’ve used some designer paper with a vintage feel and layered it with neutral and blue cardstock and stressed an inked all the edges.

The frame is a metallic stick on one from Tim Holtz and I’ve coloured it with bronze paint.

The butterflies were stamped on to more vintage paper and then punched out.

The finishing touches are some seam binding and paper roses.

Make sure you buzz over to Crafty Boots Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and hope you have to time to link up one of your thank you projects too.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. What a fabulous card, I adore the vintage papers, they give your card a real ‘Edwardian Lady’ feel. The metallic frame is a wonderful finishing touch.

    A real winner, shame you cannot enter it into the Challenge, lol!

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
