Butterfly Bingo

As you read this, we will be making our way home, hopefully before it gets dark, from our weekend down south. At the time of writing, I have no idea what the result of yesterday’s football match was, which is no bad thing as I have a feeling it may not have ended well. West Ham have been having a bit of trouble scoring goals which is quite important in football! Being a West Ham fan means living on your nerves and a lot of nail biting and I’m quite sure yesterday will have been no exception!

Today I am sharing my project for the new challenge over at City Crafter Challenge Blog which has the theme of “game night.” I was determined that I would not be using a bingo card and quite fancied altering a little domino:

Yes, I know! And a butterfly to boot! Sometimes you just have to go with what you know! I’ve layered up some of my yummy Tim Coffey papers in pinks and greens, with a little piece of pale pink from My Mind’s Eye slipped in, they are all topped off with the bingo card which came from The Gecko Galz.

The butterfly was stamped onto cream card using Vintage Photo, coloured in with various shades of pink Promarkers and gems added to its body.

The finishing touch was to add some pink ribbon and a little Stickles glitter glue to the flower.

I hope you’ve had a good weekend. I’ll let you know about mine tomorrow!

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Oh, so pretty, your card is a lovely shade of pink, and the bingo card is such a clever idea. The butterfly is inspired – of course.

I see the goals are still eluding West Ham!

  2. Once more you have done a fantastic job. i love butterflies and try to put them on everything. I sincerely hope your weekend will be wonderful.

    • Thanks Lesline. I once heard butterflies described as the symbol of crafting and I think that’s probably true, don’t you? Mr Beez tries to get me to put a bee on everything but I’m very bad at remembering!!

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
