Bright Birthday

This is, for now, the last of my brightly coloured projects for this week’s Sunday Stampers challenge and uses up some of the leftover paper from yesterday’s tag to make a birthday card.

I just added some script to the background, using Shabby Shutters distress ink.

I’d always planned to do a bright red butterfly but, following my current obsession, just had a tiny preview of what it might look like with a white one. Unfortunately, it looked good which then, once again, left me in a dilemma. However, this time I decided as this was a bright colours challenge I’d use the red.

Whilst yesterday’s tag was a bit Hawaiin tropics this is a bit more Amazon rainforest.

It’s finally Friday and I’m finally feeling fit, let the weekend commence!

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Love these colors together and the way you back stamped the same butterfly under the green too! Have a great weekend! ~Diane

  2. Your stunning creations reminds me of dappled sunshine through the rain forest canopy whilst a rabble of butterflies leisurely flit from tree to tree in the warm afternoon.

    I love the red butterfly.
