Having wondered if I would have time to make a project for this week’s City Crafter Challenge Blog, typically I have ended up with two! So here is my second that I will be linking up for the Trick or Treat (or orange if you don’t celebrate Halloween) themed challenge:
These are little Halloween hanging decorations that use some of the gorgeous images available over at The Graphics Fairy. The base is a piece of chip board – 2″ x “3” just to give you an idea of the size. I covered the pieces with various orange designer papers (I will admit that at this point I hadn’t read the challenge properly!), sanded the edges and then edged them with Black Soot distress stain.
Each of the images was layered on to black card and I used some pom-pom trim along the bottom.
I used glue gel to apply the images to add some dimension, they stand slightly proud of the base. I made hangers out of silver pipe-cleaners.
Finally, I added various little coordinating embellishments and some silver Stickles for extra magical sparkle.
Of course I had to include one of my little mini pumpkins.
I can’t wait to hang these on my little Halloween tree.
Thanks for buzzing by.
