First I want to say welcome all my new followers and a special thank you to everyone who has visited and/or left a comment over the past few days. I really appreciate you taking the time and have loved reading them. I am back with my second post of the day not quite believing just how sunny it is when, here in the UK, we have been warned that it’s going to be stormy. Having said that, the trees have begun to bend and flap a little and there are one or two black clouds on the horizon. Mr Beez has decided that if any trees are going to blow over, it’s likely to be the one right outside our house!

I’m back to share a little altered box:

This was an old Christmas card box that I’ve given a make over Halloween and I will be linking it up with the City Crafter Challenge Blog where the theme is..(can you guess?!)… pumpkins.

The box is covered with papers from The Gecko Galz Hocus Pocus collection. I love that spotty paper which has the delicious name of “Candy Corn.” Then I’ve added a fabulous pumpkin label image from The Graphics Fairy.

The top of the box is also decorated with a Graphics Fairy Image. I printed several images, reversing one of them so you can also view the box from the back. I’ve decoupaged the pumpkin and the little feet to add some extra dimension.

P1060153The finishing touches are some Icelandic moss and a handful of those lovely mini pumpkins.

P1060154My original intention was to fill this with some candy corn and mellowcreme pumpkins that I picked up online. Then I decided to cut out the middle man, have the candy by my side and just sit and look at the box – that saves an awful lot of messing about! 😉

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. Your creations are all incredible Mrs. Beez. Love them al, you take my breath away at your imagination and what you do with it. Everything is so adorable. The little treat bags also.
Sorry to hear your weather is going to turn stormy. Us too. We’ve had several absolutely gorgeous fall days but it’s to get cold and rainy for few days. Ah well, it is end of Oct. so maybe I shouldn’t complain. Happy week

    • We seem to have escaped the storms in my part of the country. Others, further south, have had it hard. It could almost be summer outside today it’s so sunny. Madness!!

  2. Gorgeous box, I love the papers and the expression in little child’s face is so adorable.

I have to congratulate you on all of your projects this week, you have been working so hard and such a high standard of work. Well done.

    Dionne xx

    • Thank you Dionne. It’s been full on but I got there in the end. If only I could be as determined about my Christmas cards!xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
