Twinchies – two inch squares just waiting to be dressed up and made pretty. That’s the theory and yet I find a twinchie can take longer than a regular sized card. Despite that, they’re always fun to do. Today I’ve made a couple to share over at the Twinchies Challenge blog where the theme is florals:
The flowers were created using the very first stamp I ever owned. I coloured them with various distress inks to match the backgrounds.
I cut the flowers out and gave the some white spots. The backgrounds were created using more distress inks and then I over stamped them with a Dylusions leafy stamp.
I’ve used glue gel to attach the flowers so that they had a little height. The finishing touch was to add the chit-chat stickers.
I did originally think I would go on an make two more using different colour palettes but I got a bit distracted by Mo Farrah and a summer pudding! What more can I say?!
these are so cheerful 🙂
Stunning Twinchies, thank you for joining in Twinchies challenge, good luck Hun, Zoe DT xx
Love your flowers and color combos. So pretty and lively.
So very pretty, they are both gorgeous.
I am sure another two would have been just as pretty but who wouldn’t have been distracted by Mo and Summer Pudding – what a winning combination.
