Hi there and happy Saturday. I’m back and feeling refreshed from my holiday in Seville. After the cold and rain we had been experiencing in the UK before I left, the constant sun and temperatures up in the 30s (one day it was 41C) was just what was needed. And now I’m back, guess what the weather outside today is doing…yep…raining!!

Seville is a beautiful city with everything in easy reach. Major sights aside, and there were many, one of my favourite things was seeing the orange trees. I suppose it’s because it’s something that we just don’t have here.

So on to today’s post, a tag that I shall be sharing over at City Crafter Challenge Blog for this week’s tic TAG toe challenge.

P1100510

I used a tag image from the Gecko Galz High Tea Kit and added an image from the Pretty Vintage Portraits collage sheet. There’s a pinch of glitter on the scarf.

Around the edge of the tag I used some Frantage embossing powder from a Stampendous Encrusted Jewel Kit. If you haven’t discovered these embossing powders do check them out. They come with all sorts of sparkly additions that you add to the embossing powder before heating.

The butterflies were stamped and punched.

I used a scrap of ribbon and added some words as the finishing touches.

Thanks for buzzing by.

  1. When you say Seville, did you mean Seville Spain? As you can tell my geographical knowledge of England not so great. Wherever you went hope it was wonderful for you both, vacations go by so quickly. You sure deserved yours and imagine your hubs did too.
Your tag is breath taking, love special effects, will have to check out those embossing powders.
Have to get myself to sleep earlier tonight, going with hubs tomorrow to VA hospital for his check up after his surgery. He’s doing so well. Glad it was good experience for him. Soon I have to do something about my right shoulder that’s been getting worse, was hurt in roll over accident in 97′ when my right arm got broken badly.
Time for news so will say bye for now. Have great week back at work ok? Love to see your posts always.

    • Yes siree – Seville in beautifully hot Spain! Hope hubs gets a good report from the hospital and you get that shoulder checked out. Thanks, as always, for your lovely comments. Happy and healthy week to you both 🙂

  2. Fab tag Mrs Beez and may I say how wonderful it is to have you back.

The embossing powder is amazing, the texture is so … so, I can’t think of the words. It reminds me of places on our ancient garden shed. I don’t know what it has been painted with in the past but I do not think it was Cuprinol, it has a texture most crafters would love to be able to recreate.

    • Funnily enough I was looking at a fabulous fence today. It has a rustic look without looking like it needs replacing if you know what I mean. Those encrusted jewels/frontage embossing powders are amazing – the hard part is choosing the colour!!! xx

I really appreciate it when people take time to leave a comment, thank you so much for doing so :)
